It’s been way too long since my last post, but it has been impossible for me to chitchat while jetsetting around the world on this whirlwind promotional tour — press junkets swathed in Chanel and Garland Collects bangles by day, red carpets draped in Alaia and Garland Collection cocktail rings at night. And, of course, Manolos and Cosmos around the clock.
Oh, how much fun the girls and I had filming. I might play a glamorous writer, but it has left me no time to offer you my insightful musings. What? Well who do you think I play in the movie? Samantha?! I have a no-nudity clause in my contract! Plus, I always get top billing.
Anyway, things are finally winding down, as the movie premieres tomorrow night, and I figured it’s a perfect time to get back to my unofficial official role as Garland’s spokesperson.
Lots of new goodies have been posted to Garland’s site, while many beauties have found new homes — goodbye Stanley Hagler Butterfly necklace, farewell Givenchy chandeliers, too-da-loo Thelma Deutsch stunners, bye-bye my fabulous Whiting and Davis cuff. But you won’t be disappointed when you check out the latest from our rotating online collection –a knockout Juliana pendant and stunning earrings, fabulous 1930′s celluloid and rhinestone necklace, outrageous W & D snake cuff, and an Egyptian Revival arrow collar that would make Cleopatra swoon. And I should know — I was robbed of the Oscar for that one.
